Welcome to ISRE
The International Society of Research on Emotion (ISRE) brings together scholars from different disciplines across the world. Its goals are :
- To provide a forum for the exchange of information of interests to its members;
- To foster critical discussion of new ideas and findings on emotion;
- To encourage collaboration on, or joint exploration of, new research areas;
- To organize workshops and training institutes on new techniques and paradigms.

The 2019 ISRE meeting will take place July 10 to13th in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is a beautiful cosmopolitan city with a large cultural heritage and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are over 40 museums, including the Rijksmuseum and van Gogh museum, 165 canals, 40 parks, and cafés, bars, and restaurants to suit every taste. There is an excellent public transportation system with metro, buses, and trams, and also more bikes than permanent residents!
The call for submissions is now open. The conference will feature keynote talks by Dacher Keltner, psychologist at UC Berkeley (US), Andrea Scarantino, philosopher at Georgia State (US), and Carien van Reekum, neuroscientist at the University of Reading (UK). To submit an abstract, symposium, or pre-conference, click here. The deadline for all submissions is November 12th 2018, with feedback on acceptance provided in January 2019.
