Government and Military Certification Systems, Inc. (GMCS) is a corporation and woman-owned small business specializing in third-party certification services. The core focus of the company is to provide high quality, independent, third-party certification services to government and military organizations and the private sector contractors that serve these entities. Our company maintains a GSA Professional Services Schedule under Contract #47QRAA18D002C.
GMCS is accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). IAS is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation that has been providing accreditation services since 1975. It is a member of Asia-Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC). The scope of IAS's membership in the IAF includes management system certification.
All of GMCS's auditors are certified by the International Registry of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and possess a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience working with government, military, and Fortune 500 organizations. (Note: Effective November 1, 2019, we no longer accept or recognize Exemplar Global auditor certification.)
Statement of Impartiality
Government and Military Certification Systems, Inc. ("GMCS") and its top management understand the importance of and are committed to maintaining impartiality in carrying out its management system certification activities. As part of its impartiality process, GMCS requires that each auditor and each member of the Certification Committee attest to impartiality and certify that they have no Conflicts of Interest as they undertake any audit or review any client for certification.
Our top management is fully committed to ensuring that certificates of registration issued to our clients are free from any lack of impartiality and conflicts of interest. In the event that there is any threat or perceived threat to impartiality or a potential conflict of interest, GMCS will document and record the analysis of such incidences and is able to demonstrate how it eliminated or minimized such threats. In the event that such a threat cannot be eliminated or minimized, GMCS does not provide certification services to that client.
