The BMES Annual Meeting is the largest and FASTEST growing event for the biomedical engineering and bioengineering fields. More than 5,400 people attended the 2019 Annual Meeting and attendance at the 2020 is expected to equal or exceed that number.
The meeting includes keynote talks from top researchers, along with thousands of oral and poster presentations on research being conducted in labs all over the world. Each day the meeting also features several networking opportunities and social events.

| Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology (CVET) Editor-in-Chief search
Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology (CVET) is one of the three BMES journals published by Springer Nature. The founding Editor-in-Chief, Ajit Yoganathan, has served since 2010 and is stepping down December 31, 2020. Under his leadership, the journal has attracted a diverse set of articles from academia and industry. The BMES Publications Board is launching the search for the next Editor-in-Chief.
